Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park is Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park is a 2,965 acre National Battlefield that preserves a Civil War battleground of the Atlanta Campaign. Opposing forces maneuvered and fought within this area from June 19, 1864 until July 2, 1864. In addition to preservation, this park serves as a recreational park for many locals to Kennsaw and the Metropolitan Atlanta area. 
   I created a wayfinding system concept that could attract patrons, help the patrons navigate through the park, and educate patrons about the local history without disrupting the surrounding wildlife. I started by surveying the area to collect photos and identify my target audience. Most patrons are joggers, hikers, families, friend groups and some equestrians on specific trails, but there are is also the wildlife to consider. 
    I designed a concept to place holographic figures spaced throughout the battle sites to demonstrate directions heading towards the nearest exit of the park. In efforts to prevent disrupting wildlife, my concept would include solar-powered holographic equipment set on a timer so night wildlife would not be disrupted. The gifs Battle at Dead Angle and Two Strolling Ladies are quick demonstrations of what these holographic figures would look like.
