These Game of Thrones shoes were a commission pair. I started with a mockup so my client would be aware of the design they would be receiving. I discussed the process of how I would paint a water proof design onto their canvas shoes. They were ecstatic to have a new customized pair to add to their sneaker collection.
   I started with a Converse Black Chuck 70 as my base. First, I sketched the design on the shoe. Then, I taped off the edges of where I would be priming the canvas before painting. I painted the design with acrylic paint before finally varnishing to waterproof the design.
