    A tunnel book is type of pop up book that usually has paper cut outs layered to create a scene with spacial depth. My photo tunnel book is similar, as it is a framework with accordian structured slots to hold transparent photographs.
    I created an unconventional photobook that would allow the viewer to see multiple people moments happening simultaneously. While I was taking photos, I became hyper-aware of the people around me. I noticed within myself that hyperfixating on the multiple people at one time then overwhelms me. This moment I had inspired me to replicate this feeling of hyperfixation and hyperawareness. I  replicated this feeling of hyperfixation using my photo tunnel book. 
    When all photos are positioned within the framework, the image becomes difficult to see through as all the transparencies impair the images’ visual clarity. Taking out photos clarify more of the photographic details. This concept demonstrates the feeling of hyper-awareness leading to overstimulation. When overstimulated, I cannot focus clearly, just as the viewer may struggle to see clearly when viewing multiple transparent images at one time.  

copy: I’ve dedicated this book to represent several different expereiences happening each within just a moment of time. Time is ongoing, and though these photos were not captured at the same moment, they allow you to visualize different experiences that can happen all within the same moment. Hyper-awareness with all of them together may cause an overwhelming feeling when trying to recognize so many different scenes, let alone the details, simultaneously. However by viewing just one moment at a time, we can appreciate that multiple scenes exist to continue to explore.
